How Pricing Works
All technical and cave training at CDT Mexico is performance-based and charged per training day.
The durations listed below are minimum requirements and assume all performance standards are met on the first attempt.
Additional training days may be required to ensure divers reach the required skill level.

You did not train the previous levels with CDT Mexico

You have not dived the previous level in over 3 months

Day of Review
Combined Courses
Combined courses are an intensive, fast-paced progression.
They are not suitable for all divers.
Buffer days for rest, fatigue, or technical issues are strongly recommended.
Equipment Notes

Owning a sidemount system is strongly recommended
-
Rental sidemount systems require approximately half a day for setup

Regulators, lights, backmount wings and backplates are available for rent
-
Dive computers, fins, exposure suits, boots, and hoods cannot be rented
-
Students are responsible for arriving with suitable personal equipment in working condition

Important Policies
Booking & E-learning

TDI e-learning must be completed before the courses (when available)

E-learning code: $100 USD

Booking is confirmed with a 1-day training deposit

Deposit is non-refundable
Training Conditions & Agreement
1. By booking a course, students confirm they have read and understood:

the course description
-
the pre-course preparation requirements
-
the performance-based training model
2. Payment in full is due 10 days before the course start date.
3. Deposits and e-learning codes are non-refundable under any circumstances.
4. Cancellations for valid reasons (injury, illness, force majeure):

No refund will be issued

The paid amount will be kept as a training credit valid for 18 months
-
After 18 months, unused credit is forfeited
5. Certification is not guaranteed and depends on meeting all performance standards.
6. Additional training days may be required at the instructor’s discretion.
7. Students are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to dive
Get Ready
Training is not about collecting a card.
It’s about earning real autonomy, safety, and confidence.
The objective: divers who can plan and execute dives independently.
