Technical diving at CDT Mexico is taught with the same emphasis on precision, structure, and clear reasoning that defines all our training.

We teach both backmount and sidemount configurations. Backmount is how we originally started cave diving, and it remains our preferred configuration for deep and decompression diving due to its stability, efficiency, and clarity of gas management in open water.

Our technical courses focus on clean fundamentals, disciplined planning, and controlled execution. Configuration choices, procedures, and decompression strategies are explained in detail and validated through practice, not adopted by habit or trend.

Training is conducted in environments well suited to technical progression, supported by a strong local technical diving community. This allows divers to train in realistic conditions while being exposed to current practices and operational standards.

While our primary specialization is cave and sidemount diving, we are fully active and experienced technical instructors.
Training at CDT Mexico provides a solid technical foundation built on proven methods, clarity, and long-term consistency.
