Alain Pocobelli is a Swiss-born cave and technical diving Instructor Trainer and Evaluator with over two decades of professional diving experience. Multilingual and internationally active, he has been based in Mexico since 2005, where his work focuses on cave diving instruction, instructor development, and advanced sidemount configurations.
 

A diving professional since 2003, Alain has logged more than 7,000 dives worldwide, including over 3,800 cave dives in Mexico. His background includes technical diving, cave exploration, survey projects, and instructor-level training across multiple agencies and environments.
 

As a co-founder of CDT Mexico, Alain’s teaching philosophy is centered on precision, autonomy, and understanding. His goal is not to produce certified divers, but capable teammates who can plan, execute, and evaluate complex cave dives responsibly.
